After a year
Its towards the end of the year 2006, which in my family’s case, its the end of 1 year of one-one homeschool with Ethan. We have done 19 lessons (kee kee, I haven’t posted Lesson 19 on the blog). which means only 20 weeks of school!!! In school terms, that means we only have 2 term.. .wow!!! so what did we do during the rest of the year?!!!
Actually, to me, its really not important. To me, I’m satisfied with how we have progressed. Not that we have done anything great academically, but what is more important is the journey that we went through.
The journey from my point of view
When I started this homeschooling, I started as one who is very ill in discipline. (which spell the many breaks in between) I didn’t even know if I can pull through this year cos of that. But, I learnt. I learnt to be more discipline. Not there yet, but on the way.
I also made a few friends who are really great women. They are the ABCD group of mummies, 4 families, 12 children, different styles, different goals for children, different characters, BUT together, friendships were nurtured.
I am not a perfect mum and teacher. There are so many times I really doubted my ability to engage my children. I’m really not sure if I have done a good job to boost their self-confident, their ability to venture out and explore, their interest in the world and people around them.
The journey from my children’s point of view
I guess I can’t really write this accurately.

Its the time of the year again…
To reflect about the year that will be gone soon…
To plan the year that will be coming soon…
To read up some books, a time to sharpen your sword…
The time to do the important things (though they may not be urgent)…So, I doubt I be blogging for the time being…
Advance Merry Christmas
and
Happy New Year
Will Be Back Soon!!!
